To make short work of Orphan 2 just go syn/com/sab then when it has deprotect and deshell and you have haste/bravery/faith go 3x rav stagger it then go 3x commando easy enough

something else useful in the room thats a large square with just stairs next to it, in the top left hand side of that room there is a floating platform. Go to the top and one of the undying cie’th is there. If you use a com/medic/syn then the battle takes about 1 min and a half and you get 32000 cp xD if your strugglin just train here for a while. beat it an walk back to the save point and max out your role levels >.<

Considering how hard they are unless Random: Instant Chain works or you have a sentinel that is already a high role level it would be easier to just train in ch11 and fight the behemoth king near the mah’habara entrace as that battle gives 6600 cp without the egg and takes 11 secs with about 15 secs to get them to respawn. As for the time scale you are talking of beating them with I doubt you can do that without a maxed ultimate weapon or fangs highwind + gengi glove as those monsters hit for 1.5k damage easily (some guides say more in the range of 2.5k with contempt doing 4.5k) and have 734500 hp with 95% chain resistance. So by fighting them you must have already spent alot of time in ch11 training which would defeat the point of fighting them and by being able to defeat them so easily your role levels must already be sufficient for the final boss.

Actually it really dosent take long and its not difficult at all. The syn will cast hast and protect so that the damage is a minimum and you dont need to stagger it. the synergist will cast enfire and bravery which mean that youll take about 15000- 20000 a hit. it dies within 2 mins. an the medic keeps you alive. trust me it works.

Hey im no lame ass just sayin though i agree that trainin in chapter 11 is easy specially in the fight he talked about. But trust me on this set up so your a com/med/syn and you wont have to change once, you dont need an ultimate weapon and its easy. 32000 cp a fight is less boring than 6600. Just sayin it was useful try it if you want. it worked for me. and no drsuperevil sucks ass is not me. if io get the time ill make a video and post a link xD (you also dont need the random stagger cos you dont need to waste your time staggerin it) xD

My argument was that in ch13 you have several opportunities to go back to Field A and through that back to ch 11/12 so cp/unit time wise there might be better ways to gain cp before killing the final boss. Random: Instant Stagger is not useless on that monster as it has a stagger of 999% so Random: Instant Stagger when it hits gives you equivalently 10x damage which makes the fight alot faster. The item combos that give Random: Instant Stagger are listed in this guide under the japanese translation of Lucky Breaker.

If I get my strategy guide…. Do I just tell you the wrong translations ?

Lunatic meth the answer to your question is there is a portal back to Orphan’s Cradle in the same spot you re-enter ch11/12. You appear at Base Camp in ch 11 near mission 7 stone while in ch12 you appear just after where you fought Proud Clad(2nd).

Lightning the Faultwarrens are in ch11 part of Titan’s challenges, you must complete mission 14 to get access to chocobos then jump up the big cliff in the North East before completeing mission 34. Continue along the path for a cutscene, accept the mission at the end of the path to be teleported there.

Thank you very much On last bosses now and Orphan proving too be little tuff I can kill Barthandelus quite easy got Omega weapons but there the 2nd best ones I’ve changed to Omega not the top ones. Hard to upgrade seem I’m not getting Platinum drops keep getting Trapezohedron ): I must of gotten 1 Platinum then 5 Trapezohedron and don’t even need them yet. No idea where I’m gonna get the gil from when I do unlock the shop. Gonna be fun

Chapter 13 – Orphan’s Cradle farming -> pwn i got over 10 perfume’s and 6 scarletites in like then 20 minutes or so

my setup was Fang – Vanille – Lightning [in that order]
only Paradigms i needed:
Safe Subversion [sab-sab-med]
Relentless Assault [com-rav-rav]

once you got a bit decently geared and leveled [i got around 7 – 8K on everyone but hope.
Once you get the little package of Deshell-Deprotect-Imperil you are good to go to R.A. but the more debuffs the funnier =3
you got a nice timer anyway

After you beat the story and can go back to ch 12 and 11 for missions and stuff, do you have to completely go through ch 13 again to fight orphan for the 5 star trophy? Or can I warp to any of the 3 places instantly for a new point?
