How to create a Sprint Shoes
- Fast forward to chapter11
- You buy four Iron bangle.
- You accept mission 7.(Bituitus)
- You beat the enemy of mission 7
- You continue to accept mission 7,until he drops a Tetra Tiara or a Tetra Crown
- After you obtain Tetra, you go to a Save point.
- You convert Tetra to Tetra★
- You cannibalize four Iron bangle.
- You cannibalize a Tetra tiara or a Tetra crown.
- Here is an easier and correct way to do it. There is a boss in 1 of the chapters b4 you get to Gran Pulse there is a boss that drops Tetradiac Crown. When you get to Gran pulse upgrade Tetradiac to star then dismantle it and you will get a: Green Needle,Guardian Amulet,Auric Amulet,Watchman’s Amulet and a pair of HERMES SANDALS. You upgrade the HERMES SANDALS to star and use the catalyst Perovskite then alakazahm you get SPRINT SHOES AKA HERMES SHOES!
- Save b4 u do this just in case you dont believe me. This saves you money form buying a damn collectors catalog and saves time so you dont have to farm mission 7.
- I found the easiest way to get the sprint shoes!first obtain a tetradic tiara from cie’th mission 7.second upgrade it to a star class (only takes 2000 points)lastly disassemble it and you will receive a multitude of items including the sprint shoes(auto-haste!)alternatively you can do the same with the tetradic crown but you will receive the hermes sandals.note: if you do not level the item up before you diassemble it, you will only receive a green needle
How to obtain a Grow Egg
- By completing mission 55,you can obtain it.
All CP doubles when one of the parties equips it.
How to obtain a Genji’s Forearm
- Complete a Mission 51 Attacus, the Soulless.
- Complete a Mission 62 Indomitable Will.
- Complete a Mission 63 Crushed by Doubt.
By completing these missions, you can obtain three Ganji’s forearm.
- Genji’s glove removes the 99,999 damage cap, you can’t do more than 99,999 damage with one attack until you equip it. It will not increase your damage unless your attacks exceeds 99,999 however it raises the cap so that you can do 999,999 if you are powerful enough.(Comments of readers)

What is No stagger(No Break)
- No break is like stagger lock 119.9%of 120% maximum damage but not stagger I have a sword that has stagger lock and so does sazh so it up to vannile as a sabateur to stagger it. Unless you change their weapons.
- Stagger lock means you can build the gauge all the way up to the threshold, but you can’t push it over. You need a partner who doesn’t have stagger-lock to stagger the enemy at that point. Lightning makes a poor choice for a stagger-lock weapon since she does spend a good amount of time as a ravager. Leave stagger-lock for the characters who spend most of their time as Commando like Fang.
comments of readers.
What is Siphon
When you defeat an enemy, ATB gauge recovers 1 slot.
comments of readers.
What is Stagger Siphon
When an enemy is in a Break state, you recover a little bit of your ATB gauge per.
comments of readers.
What is Weak Siphon
When an enemy is debuffed (from a Jammer), you recover some of your ATB gauge per attack.
comments of readers.
What is ATB+1
ATB+1 mean that you can gain another slot.
where can the double CP item be found
It is pay of completing mission 55.(Grow Egg)
Collect Catalog and Connoisseurs Catalog
- Collect Catalog+Collect Catalog=NO stack
- Collect Catalog+Connoisseurs Catalog=Stack
- Lightning equip a Collect Catalog + Fang equip a Collect catalog=No stack.
- Lightning equip a Collect Catalog + Fang equip a Connoisseurs catalog= stack
Simply one of your party equip each a catalog, effect is enough.
Dropping rate of items is 1.5 times higher.
Dropping rate of rare Items is 1.1 times higher.
About Lightning’s weapons
Here is comments of readers
- Best weapons for Lightning are Axis Blade and Lionheart. Blazefire Edge and Gladius are also good choices early on to upgrade, but the other two are superior. If you paradigm shift a lot, or use manual commands over auto-battle more, choose Lionheart. Otherwise, if you just auto-battle, Axis Blade will do more damage and build up chain gauge faster. Avoid Lifesaber and Organyx. Lifesaber’s effect is pretty useless, and Organyx’ slow is extremely crippling — doesn’t even result in more damage and hurts your ability to help heal as a medic with Lightning.
- So I did a lil test on the Axis Blade. Piece of crap really but with Whistlewind Scarfs it turns into a deadly weapon. I’m not joking either. This can be EXTREMELY helpful when trying to juggle a boss. So far I have 1 Aurora Scarf (for first strike and unlocking +10% ATB gain) and 2 Whistlewind Scarfs (for an additional +10% ATB regain 20% ATB regain speed total) and Sazh with Spica (for Haste increase and what not). Let me just say… I can’t play Light now cause it makes me dizzy going back and forward so damn much. I’ll let the computer handle Light from now on.Edit: This could also be something but instead of an early Stagger why not fill it up really fast with Ravenger Light
- I’ve beaten 99% of this game and I would say that the Lionharts early break is almost useless, the hardest bosses you wont even come close to staggering or it’s actually not a good idea at all ( Vercingotrix, Neochu, Gigantaur and in the case of Raktavija only 4% earlier.. 200 increase to both Magic and strength is a potent upgrade, makes her a more potent healer and even better commando, Hautleclaire FTW
-
Some of you guys have failed to take into consideration that one can easily have over 3000 attack or magic strength by the time you’ve developed your crystal fully and have decent accessories, so what is 200 or so in strength compared to a really great weapon effect? IMHO good effects win out (ie Lionheart > all)” – ChaosWORD!!!!!! LIONHEART RULES ALL!

About Snow’s weapons
- Power Circle and Paladin are his best weapons. Umbra’s decent as well, but I prefer Paladin since it has higher strength. Power Circle, Snow’s starting weapon, makes him a good hard-hitter without sacrificing his health. Paladin will increase the effectiveness of his active Steelguard and Mediguard abilities. Umbra will increase the effectiveness of his passive Fringeward and Deathward abilities.
- Snow has high hp and str but is pretty weak magic wise go Power Circle, Rebel Heart or Wild Bear.
About Fang’s weapons
- Taming Pole or Pandora Spear are the only choices anyone should consider. “No Stagger” doesn’t hurt Fang since Ravager isn’t one of her main roles, and she’s not the one who ends up staggering opponents. Pandora Spear is great because landing debuffs earlier = more time spent as Sentinel or Commando.
- Do not underestimate Punisher for building up TP faster for inbetween hard battles eg. oretoises.
About Hope’s weapons
- Aspir was translated to Siphon in the english version. The only siphon ability Hope would use is Fearsiphon (or Break Aspir) in the ravager tree, meaning Hope will gain back more ATB when hitting staggered targets. Makes Otshirvani a great boss-killer. Vidofnir increases durations of defensive buffs (Protect/Shell) and is also a good choice for boss fights. Hawkeye gives the highest magic stat, but the difference is only about 200, and by end game, most of your magic comes from crystarium nodes, not your weapon.
- All ultimates keep their old ability based on weapon used to make them and at max lvl get +1 ATB the other ability is purely used on the base item to make it. I hope that answers your question
About Sazh’s weapons.
- Sazh has the best weapons, but that just makes up for his piss poor stats. Go with the weapons that have good passive effects, as Sazh even with Deneb Dueller’s 1125 magic stat doesn’t even come close to Hope or Vanille’s magic stat with their good weapons. Top 3 weapons:
- Procyons – 30% longer stagger duration is best for boss fights, but has pretty poor stats otherwise (use these if you have heavy hitters like Fang or Hope w/ Otshirvani in your party)
- Spica – nearly doubles the lengths of your offensive buffs (ie. Faith, Bravery, Haste). Very useful for boss fights, and has much better stats than Procyons.
- Antares Deluxes – increases chain gauge on hit by 20%. Also synergizes with certain accessories like Sprint Shoes to give the coveted ATB speed increase. Very useful all-around weapon, but the other two are arguably better for bosses.
- please clarify the effects of ANTARES DELUXES, you say“increases chain gauge on hit by 20%”does this mean that each hit increases stagger bar by 20% (kind of absurd)
OR
does this mean that each round of hits increases stagger bar by 20% (hard to believe it would be this complicated…)
OR
does this mean that the amount the stagger bar increases by with each hit receives a 20% increase? (very likely)
- Your 3rd function is correct, it just increases the amount it would normally increase the gauge by 20%. It’s a good weapon, but considering that a) you don’t get it until Chap 12 at the earliest, and b) when you have party members with Lionheart or random: instant stagger abilities, it’s use is diminished. Procyons and Spica are much stronger versus boss fights. 30% extra duration on stagger is a lot of extra damage.
About Vanille’s weapons
- Either Belladonna Wand or Healing Staff are probably best, depends what you see her doing. Shes the best Saboteur/Jammer so i recommend the Belladonna, The healers staff is good too but hope is a better healer and the bonus to cure isn’t all that impressive especially because most of the other staves beat it by 400+ magic anyways.
- 2things, first of all theres a typo on the exp of the nirvana u get from marlboro, it says it takes 167328 exp to get nirvana from lvl 26 to 100, its actually about 10 times that lol, i know its just a typo but i fell for it T.T and secondly wether vanille is the best saboteur/jammer or not is up for debate because she doesnt have some of the VERY useful saboteur skills such as slow and cursega, but she does have the death skill which allowed me to get my trapezohedron from adamantoise
- The tier 2 of pearlwing staff is brightwing staff I know it’s not that important but it confused me becoz u have put physisian’s staff
- yea, u have physicians staff on their rather than brightwing =/ confused me 2

Hi guys, could anyone explain me, what are stars after battle for? i mean how do they affect drop really? cuz i’ve had some fights with no stars at all and still got pretty decent drop – rare drop ocasionaly. so i was wondering, besides charging TP bar faster does it really affect drop rates? if so, how does it affect it (percentage wise) and where did u get that info please. cheers

Stars only affect rare item drops otheriwse they are purely an annoying way to say win faster but with less style. 3 Star and less is 1x Rare drop 4 is 3x and 5 is 5x.

I’ve read that Flowering Cactaurs drop ribbons as a rare drop. I’ve seen flowering cactaurs in Titan’s trials but not fought them yet.

Can you tell me difference between phys/magic damage reduced and elemental damage reduced? Also, what accessory would be good for each character??

Cid. Phys/magic reduction applies to all attacks of that type regardless of element so something with high physical resistance would take hardly any damage from Flamestrike which is a physical fire element attack yet would take normal damage frome the magical attack Fire. Elemental resistance as the name implies affects all attacks of that element but not those of a different element so something with a high fire resistance would take hardly any damage from both Flamestrike and Fire but take normal damage from Aeroga. Characters ultimate skills (Army of One, Highwind and Death etc.) ingore resistances.
As for best accessories for each char that depends what you are fighting and what role you are using each character as. For short fights you might want to consider the amulets with Auto-Brave/Faith, the +Str/Mag ones are good depending what role each character uses to complement their highest stat of str/mag, vs hard monsters like oretoises you might want to have as many as 3 maxed damage reduction accessories. Synthesis group is another thing to take into consideration as you can get some good effects by combining the right accessories like Random: Insatant Chain, +20-90% +/-ve buff duration, +20-50% element damage and +10-30%ATB Gain (popular with Lightning and Axis Blade). so, magic reduction on imperial guard reduces damage from all magic attacks? or do they reduce non-elemental magic damage only, like from ruin.
