A Helter Skelter based Ultima Weapon only returns a single Trapzohedron when dismantled.

So what gives better items? The lance or Nirvana?
Just wondering which one i should invest in first.

They replace most adamanchelids once you complete certain missions.

do you have to fully upgrade lance of kain, for it to give you 3 Trapezohedron?

and you save 2,5 millon gills, since you have to use 1, and you get 3(you get 2 more 2x2million=4 vs uppgrading it fuly costs 1523640(not factoring in Trapezohedron))

From what I have read you do. I did the belladonna wand method then regretted it because I got 3 Trapezohedrons in 10 runs of mission 63 so I think that adamantoroise might have an increased drop chance.

I think is faster to do it by trying win Trapezohedrons in mission 63, since you have to use a lot of money for uprgrading you wepaon many times, insetead of just one.
But thats just my opinon, anybody who has a diffrent experience?

This is wrong, dissasembling Nirvana from Belladonna gives you barely anything and zero trapezohedrons.

so hard to stand against adamantortoise.. how the hell am i supposed to beat long gui if u guys say its even harder! insta chain? death? pure luck?

For a start Long Gui are immune to death and I dont think insta chain works. Max the crystarium and equip 3 damage reducung accessories (Imperial guard. Champion Belt and Magus Brace on each char are common) and have Sen/Sen/Sen as your first paradigm and triple med as your second and switch to the triple sen whenever you see it ready an attack.

yea im still working on my crystarium ^^ so far ive got 3×5 and some lvl 2-3.. kinda hard to get everyone maxed out.. but ill get there eventualy as i see no way i can stop playing this game whatsoever.. it’s just freaking amazing.. honestly im thinking of geting my bro’s ps3 and buying new copy of the game but i can barely play 2h a day now so getting to a point where i am now (96h played, almost 2kk gil and crystarium as stated) it would take me forever
btw. i already knew its immune to death as i tried to death adamanchelid and failed nearly 100 times (then i just attacked and killed it without any effort in less than 30sec but adamantortoises.. well that’s whole new level of bad ass

Death has 1% chance of instant death but gains +1% for every other negative buff on the monster. Fastest way/unit time for CP is use Growth Egg from Mission 55 on the Behemoth King fighting the Megagastrodon (sorry if wrong name) near Mah’habara using 3x commando with Auto-Bravery and +Str accessories you can kill the fight for 13200 CP in 8-11 secs and just need to walk to the nearest save point to get them to respawn (about 15 seconds walking).

yea i agree, this spot is possibly the best spot in game (it’s easy and fast and doesnt require for a player to be maxed out or anything). however, i use 1 com 2 rav – find it faster if i stagger more, it takes me around 11-13 sec to kill those.

anyway, i agree it’s fast way of gaining CP, but imo, everyone at some point should start killing adams, they give 80k CP + trap or plat ignots, compared to some claws 15 gil each, it’s a winning. 15sec + 15sec = 30 sec – that’s how much it takes to kill k. bahemot & magistarion (or whatever), compared to 6-7 min killing 1 adam (no death, no summon). imo its better to farm both CP, even if little less, and gil instead of only farming CP

You only need 1 Trapezohedron in the game and you can dismantle belladonna wand/dragoon lance to get infinite amount. so get the one and then its all done. Its easy to get particle acceloraters from titans challenge (cant remember which hunt). this gives plenty of experience when leveling up the weapons. Dismantling these weapons give you 3 Traps.

Use one for belladonna wand and upgrade it fully, dismantle this, it will give you three. Then use one trap on another belladonna wand and one on the Lance, dismantle these and it will give you 6 and so on. and you can go on forever. Getting items to use for experience is easy.

Its just getting the one Trapezohedron that is the problem

this way if you wanted you could easily get every weapon and and the ultimate version of all the weapons. Nearly there myself.

The main issue is the gil for catalysts and those particle accelerators could be used to upgrade other weapons and accessories, it is not as if Trapezohedron is that rare from mission 63.

Yes but platinum ignots or some easy battles for perfume and your gill is well sorted.

another EASY way to get Trapezohedron is to upgrade the genji Glove fully, then dismantle it, bingo Trapezohedron!…… then just follow my advise above. simples.

obviously it will take time, but i spent a lot longer trying to kill adamantosies for Trapezohedron then i did getting the genji glove and upgrading it, then dismantling it and getting the ultimate weapons for all characters.

i get a platinum ignots about 4 out of 5 battles with adamantoises. i got a Trapezohedron after 30 + battles. considering the battle with attacus (or whatever the spelling is) isnt that difficult, and only took me 10 minutes first time around with a crap party. its worth going this way around for the Trapezohedronthen use the adamantoises for ingots.

still, dismantling weapons wont give u CP, either ull gonna farm urself to death with k.bahemot or ull gonna redo all missions, which will prolly end in suicidal attempt.. farming. i agree with superevil, its easy to make omega weapon, try making it a star.. costs 1mil each, so its easier to kill lots of adams and farm trapz and ignots with some cp bonus, instead of farming everything alone. anyway, if u get lucky/pro/insanly skilled, ull be able to beat adams in very little time which makes farming gil and cp soooo delicious ^^

Getting CP aint so bad.

I can get 999,999 cp in 45 mins in mahabra, with com/com/com with snow, fang and lightining. run a line back and forth from the hunt to the save point. with growth egg. you are looking at battles that last 3 to 5 seconds max, get around 7/10k cp per battle. Plus because some battle are different, you dont get that bored to death.

and the only reason i mentioned the method above is for easy Traps, IE – dismantling a genji glove. and the possiblity of infinite traps afterwards. getting Gil and CP isnt and issue really.(this section is for traps )

You can only get 3 Gengi Gloves so dismantling them is not a good idea.

Yeah but theres only two characters which you’ll do more then 99,999 damage with, so you can dismantle 1 genji glove, get the trap. then you will have infinite by using the dismantling weapons method.

you make it sound difficult to do so, but it really isnt. gil and cp are easy to farm on ff13.

sacrifices on eden are great for gil (perfumes scarlitite)

plus, there isnt really much use of the genji gloves as by the time of getting them, you (should) be able to defeat everything in the game without too much bother. Long guis are the only real tough slog in battles, but even then its more about time then difficulty.

Where do I get the genji glove from ?, I have just started chapter 12 after spending 20 hours on chapter 11…. Fricking love that area

Sorry Long Gui, but Genji breaks the damage limit for all types of damage, including magic.

So if Vanille has a Genji on and you cast Death on a 999 Staggered mob and during the casting animation, switch her role to Commando, she will do 120,000 – 300,000 damage+ when her roles are fully maxed and holding a couple of magestral crests. I’ve done 999,999 this way on mobs with high HP and mediocre defence with a stage 3 weapon Faithra and all Magestral Crests.

Sahz breaks limit on Commando finishing off his last hit on Shaolong gui’s at max stagger with a stagger maintenance II weapon, Hope easily does over 60k damage per nuke on mobs weak to elementals even when they arent staggered at max role level.

Having 3 Genji Gloves ups your damage per minute in a HUGE way versus having just 2.
